Jayanth Kashyap is a second-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergrad, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics. At Pitt Med, he is a member of the Musculoskeletal Oncology Lab under Drs. Kurt Weiss and Ines Lohse. His research interests are in improving clinical and surgical outcomes for patients with sarcoma or bone metastases. In his free time, Jay enjoys playing tennis, learning guitar, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
