Julissa Suarez- Navarro is a biochemistry, molecular, cellular, and developmental biology graduate student at the University of California, Davis. She is part of Janai Carr-Ascher's lab, which focuses on developing in vivo models to understand sarcoma development, progression, and metastasis. Julissa's research interests center on understanding how yes-associated protein 1 (YAP1) drives sarcoma development. She is also focused on identifying YAP1's targets, to uncover new therapeutic opportunities for sarcomas.
