Toru Hirozane is an orthopedic oncologist with a focus on bone and soft tissue tumors in Japan. He earned his MD and PhD from Keio University School of Medicine and currently serves as Assistant Professor at Kyorin University. He had held key roles, including Chief Doctor at Tochigi Cancer Center, and had been a visiting researcher at the National Cancer Center Research Institute.
His research focuses on new therapies for sarcomas, AI in musculoskeletal oncology. He has published in high-impact journals such as JCI Insight and British Journal of Cancer and received awards including the ASBMR Young Investigator Travel Grant and multiple awards. Dr. Hirozane’s work is dedicated to advancing clinical practice and research in orthopedic oncology.
