Dr. Ryan A Denu is a medical oncology fellow at the The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA. He received MD and PhD degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Burkard, and his thesis was titled "Causes and Consequences of Centrosome Amplification in Cancer." He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He is currently in his third year of medical oncology fellowship and is a postdoc in the laboraotry of Dr. Kunal Rai in the Department of Genomic Medicine at MD Anderson studying sarcoma epigenetics. He aspires to be an independent academic physician scientist focusing on sarcoma epigenetics.
