I am a research scientist at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah, specializing in cancer biology. I earned my Ph.D. in molecular biology from China Agricultural University, where I focused on generating antiviral transgenic pigs. After shifting to cancer research during my postdoctoral training at the University of Texas Health Science Center, I now study the molecular mechanisms of synovial sarcoma, particularly the role of SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes in cancer progression.
My current work uses mouse models to investigate the SS18-SSX fusion and its impact on BAF complex subtypes, aiming to identify novel therapeutic targets. I am also expanding my skills in developmental biology and computational genome analysis, with the goal of becoming a principal investigator.
