Visiting Researcher
Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine
I am currently a visiting researcher in Dr. Hirbe's lab, engaged in various exciting research projects. Before this, I spent over sixteen years working at a biotech company in Shanghai, where I focused on preclinical development and translational medicine research, particularly small molecules for cancer therapy. I earned my PhD in oncology pharmacology from the State Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry (SIPI, Shanghai, China) in 2006, and I completed my Bachelor's degree in pharmacology at China Pharmaceutical University (CPU, Nanjing, China) in 1997. Additionally, I gained valuable research experience as a research fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at the Provincial Institute of Materia Medica (Nanjing, China), dedicating over three years to advancing my knowledge in pharmaceutical science.
Currently, my research focuses on identifying potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets for malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST), aiming to contribute to improved treatment and management of this type of cancer.
