Dr. Robinson is a research fellow in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). He completed his clinical fellowship training in May 2024. He also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation degree during his fellowship training, awarded in June 2024. He is currently on the physician-scientist track and pursuing his research under the auspices of a T32 training grant. His research focuses on cancer care delivery and health outcomes during and following therapy among pediatric and adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients. Such research would center upon an understanding of short and long-term health outcomes, the development of therapeutic strategies to best balance efficacy with toxicity, as well as interventions to ameliorate adverse health and psychosocial outcomes to improve overall survival and the quality of survivorship for patients and families. This research extends to evaluating primary caregiver(s) and siblings of patients, with a concentration on family functioning, psychosocial wellness, and financial toxicity.
