PGY-VI Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellow
University of Pittsburgh/UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
I am currently a PGY-VI Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellow at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. I am a post doctorate scholar and hold a T32 award for Reserach Training for Pediatric Subspeciality Fellows through the Department of Pediatrics at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. My research interests include that of sarcoma biology and improving outcomes for patients with this diagnosis through translational research. I am performing sarcoma research in the Nacev Lab at the Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, PA (research mentor: Benjamin Nacev, MD, PhD). I am motivated to provide excellent care to pediatric, adolescents, and young adults facing an oncologic diagnosis. Additionally, I am obtaining a master's degree in clinical research, translational track, through the University of Pittsburgh. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, running, and playing with my dogs. I am currently training for a triathlon.
