I am a PhD candidate in immuno-oncology at the Cordeliers Research Center in Paris, France. My research focuses on understanding the complex interactions between tumor cells and immune cells within the tumor microenvironment, with the goal of uncovering how these interactions shape immune responses and influence tumor progression. I am particularly interested in the role of Tertiary Lymphoid Structures (TLS) and their potential as biomarkers for predicting patient outcomes, as well as therapeutic targets.
A key aspect of my work involves exploring the heterogeneity of immune responses across different regions of tumors. By investigating how immune cell populations interact with tumor cells, I aim to gain insights into the mechanisms underlying treatment resistance and cancer evolution. To achieve this, I use state-of-the-art techniques like single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, which allow me to map the spatial relationships between tumor and immune cells and identify distinct immune niches.
I am part of the team led by Professors Catherine and Hervé Fridman, known for their groundbreaking research in cancer immunology. Our laboratory, directed by Pr. Isabelle Cremer, specializes in understanding the interplay between immunology and oncology, with the ultimate goal of developing new therapeutic strategies that harness the immune system to fight cancer
