I am an experienced surgical oncologist with over 20 years of specialization in soft tissue sarcoma and a dedicated focus on advancing surgical care for both adult and pediatric oncology patients. My expertise spans from contributing to evolving standards for retroperitoneal sarcoma to a growing dedication to pediatric surgical oncology, particularly for conditions like soft tissue sarcomas, Wilms tumor, and neuroblastoma. My work is guided by a commitment to advancing patient outcomes and optimizing surgical approaches for complex, challenging cases.

As an active member of the TransAtlantic Australasian Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Working Group (TARPSWG) since its inception, I have contributed to shaping treatment standards and innovations in retroperitoneal sarcoma care. In this role, I serve on the Governance Committee of RESAR, an international registry gathering crucial data on retroperitoneal sarcoma treatments and outcomes.

Professional Roles & Leadership
Board Member, European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO): As a member of ESSO’s Board of Directors, I support key initiatives, decisions, and collaborations that impact the future of surgical oncology across Europe.
Program Coordinator, European School of Soft Tissue Sarcoma Surgery (ESSTSS): I lead the coordination of ESSTSS, overseeing specialized training programs designed to equip surgeons with the latest skills and techniques in soft tissue sarcoma surgery.
Treasurer, Division of Surgical Oncology, UEMS: I serve as Treasurer of the Division of Surgical Oncology for the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), helping to drive standardization in surgical oncology practices across Europe.
Contributor to ESBQ Certification Exam: My work on the European Board of Surgery Qualification (EBSQ) Certification Exam ensures rigorous standards in surgical oncology education and certification.
