Dr. Andrew Hanna is a second-year complex general surgical oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania, including a 2 year research fellowship in the lab of Dr. Ronal DeMatteo studying GIST tumor immunology and heterogeneity using next generation sequencing techniques and analysis. During fellowship, he has focused on the clinical management of GIST as well extremity and retroperitoneal sarcomas and will hopefully continue his academic career pursuing these interests from both a research and clinical perspective.
