USC Undergraduate Student | Biomedical Engineering (Mechanical)
I am currently in my third year at the University of Southern California working towards a degree in biomedical engineering. My research experience spans novel sarcoma treatments, optic nerve regeneration, and retinal health. My work includes studying nerve regeneration mechanisms, retinopathy treatments, as well as exploring the therapeutic potential of CCNG1 gene expression manipulation in cancer treatment. Currently, I am investigating human embryonic stem cell-derived retinal pigmented epithelium (RPE) secretomes in slowing photoreceptor degeneration. My passion for combining hands-on clinical work with impactful research drives me toward a career in surgery, where I aim to help advance medical solutions for complex conditions!
