My name is Thomas (Tommy) Karadimas and I'm a 2nd year medical student at USF Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. I was born and raised in a small town in Southeastern Michigan, went to the University of Michigan for undergrad (Go Blue!), and now I live in Tampa full-time for school and love it.
I always wanted to do medicine, especially surgery because of an eye condition I was born with, and was helped a lot by some talented surgeons. In medical school, I have had the opportunity to scrub into some really cool surgeries and have subsequently fell in love with Orthopaedic Oncology. I've since been working on related research and trying to explore the field in any way I can, hence why I am presenting research here!
On a more personal note, in my free time, I love going to the beach, playing pickleball and volleyball, grilling, and checking out cars. I also enjoy going to dinners and trying out new foods, as well as having game nights with all of my friends.
