Bruno Vincenzi is a medical oncologist and Full Professor of Oncology at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. His clinical and translational research is focused on the genetic and molecular characterization of rare neoplasia particularly in the field of soft tissue sarcomas and gastrointestinal stromal tumors. He coordinates several research projects aimed at identifying new predictors of efficacy to chemotherapy treatments and new biomarkers involved in resistance to anticancer therapies in patients with rare tumors. He is an active member of the EORTC (European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma) and member of board of directors of the ISG (Italian Sarcoma Group). Moreover, he coordinates, several multicenter clinical trials on patients with rare cancers at Campus Bio-Medico University. He is co-author of 456 publications in international scientific journals of medium / high impact factor (h-index 56, number of citations 13486 from Scopus).
