Dr. Julie Grossman works as an assistant professor of surgical oncology at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the DeWitt Daughtry Family Department of Surgery at the Univeristy of Miami. She obtained her medical degree from Tel Aviv University. She completed her residency in General Surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis and her fellowship in Complex General Surgery Oncology from University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Grossman specializes in skin and soft tissue tumors, such as melanoma and sarcoma. Her research interests focus on understanding the role of the tumor immune microenvironment in soft tissue sarcoma, and how to utilize new diagnostics and therapeutics that will ultimately improve patient survival.
