PhD Student
Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Italy
My name is Laura Bergamaschi, and I am a final-year PhD student at the Open University affiliated research center Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori (INT) in Milan, Italy. My PhD research focuses on the role of the immune system in desmoid tumors, and since 2019, I have been working in the field of translational sarcoma immunology at INT. Originally trained as a biotechnologist, I specialize in flow cytometry, a fundamental technique for studying both local and systemic immunity. I am actively involved in several projects on various types of sarcoma, and I am excited to be part of this congress to share my work and collaborate with fellow researchers.
