ohn Morrison is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Morrison obtained his medical degree and his doctorate of philosophy in pathology and microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then completed pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Dr. Morrison is a clinical and translational scientist with a particular interest in tracheostomy associated respiratory infections, antibiotic resistance mechanisms, biomarker discovery, and predictive modeling of recurrent respiratory infections. He has also a passion for supporting career development and community formation and has co-lead several workshops on peer mentorship
