I am Dr. Laura Risi Ambrogioni, a medical doctor attending medical oncology residency at the Fondazione Policlinico Campus Bio-Medico in Rome, Italy. During my residency, I discovered a deep passion for treating and researching about sarcomas and rare cancers. In my work, I have the privilege of collaborating closely with the engineering department at our university, which has opened up exciting opportunities to explore how artificial intelligence and deep learning can transform oncology. My main focus is on radiomics, where I am investigating how AI can be used as a predictive tool to improve cancer care outcomes.
