PhD Student
Children's Cancer Institute, Australia
Callum is a third-year PhD student in the Sarcoma Biology and Therapeutics Research Group, working under the supervision of Dr Emmy Fleuren, at Children’s Cancer Institute in Sydney, Australia. He completed his undergraduate master’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham, UK in 2019 where his research focused on the characterisation of lysine demethylase inhibitors as novel treatments for urothelial carcinoma. Callum’s current research focusses on using phosphoproteomics to identify novel therapies for paediatric osteosarcoma and utilises patient-derived xenograft (PDX) samples from the Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO) for novel target identification by phosphoproteomics.
