Institut BergoniƩ, Bordeaux (France), France
I am a specialist in Pathological Anatomy at the Institut BergoniƩ. After studying medicine in Italy, I obtained my specialist diploma in pathological anatomy in Turin in 2003, followed by a Master 2 diploma at Strasbourg's Louis Pasteur University in 2007. I worked as a university hospital assistant and later as an associate professor at Strasbourg University Hospital until 2010. In 2010, I joined the Institut BergoniƩ, where I became a specialist in the Biopathology Department of the Centres de Lutte Contre le Cancer. My fellowship with Prof. Esther Oliva at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston enhanced my expertise in gynecologic pathology, leading to significant contributions in the field, particularly in the areas of uterine smooth muscle tumors and gynecological sarcomas. I am the author of numerous publications, including the 5th WHO edition of gynecological tumors and ESGO guidelines for gynecological sarcomas. Additionally, I am a member of the International Society of Gynecopathology, the English Society of Gynecopathology, and the International Academy of Pathology.
