Dr. Priya Chattopadhyay is a recent graduate of the Florida State University College of Medicine at Daytona Beach, earning her M.D. in May 2023. She also holds dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida, where she graduated in 2018. During her medical education, Dr. Chattopadhyay discovered her passion for oncology during clinical rotations in Daytona Beach, where she was inspired by the resilience of patients and the complexity of cancer care. This experience led her to pursue the hematology-oncology track at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she is currently training with plans to specialize further through a hematology-oncology fellowship. She has a particular research interest in sarcomas, focusing on advancing treatment modalities, disparities, and improving outcomes for patients with rare and aggressive malignancies. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys travel, fitness, and exploring culinary experiences.
