Dr. Patel is an Assistant Member within the Department of Oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He is a pediatric oncologist and physician-scientist. His lab focuses on the challenge of intratumoral heterogeneity, and it's role in driving treatment resistance and metastasis. The Patel lab uses a combination of computational biology, high-complexity experimental models of sarcoma, and single-cell sequencing technologies to explore the dynamics and regulation of the cellular diversity in sarcomas.
