My research focus is to uncover the mechanisms that drive cancer progression and relapse in pediatric tumors with the long-term goal of identifying novel therapeutic drug targets for the treatment of relapsed and refractory disease. Our laboratory has three main areas of research focus: 1) rhabdomyosarcoma, 2) T cell leukemia and 3) optimized cell transplantation models for imaging cancer processes at single cell resolution in immune deficient zebrafish.
